Struct serde_tagged::ser::internal::Serializer
source · pub struct Serializer<'a, S, T: ?Sized + 'a> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description
A serializer that embeds a tag into to the provided value and then serializes it.
Due to the tag being embedded into the value, not all value-types are supported. The provided serializer performs the actual serialization and thus controls the data format. For more information on this trag-format and the supported values, see the module documentation.
Due to the tag being embedded into the value, not all value-types are supported. For more details see the module documentation.
§Warning
This serializer does not provide any checks regarding collisions of the
tag_key
with field-names or map-keys. The responsibility for such checks
reside with the caller.

§type Ok = <S as Serializer>::Ok
type Ok = <S as Serializer>::Ok
The output type produced by this
Serializer
during successful
serialization. Most serializers that produce text or binary output
should set Ok = ()
and serialize into an io::Write
or buffer
contained within the Serializer
instance. Serializers that build
in-memory data structures may be simplified by using Ok
to propagate
the data structure around.§type Error = <S as Serializer>::Error
type Error = <S as Serializer>::Error
The error type when some error occurs during serialization.

type SerializeSeq = <S as Serializer>::SerializeSeq
Type returned from
